BRANDON BOLLMAN #49 Debut: 2015 Team: Bears (2020) Managerial Record: N/A (1st Season) About Brandon: Coach Bollman was born and raised in the Quad Cities (Moline). His baseball background includes t-ball, Dads Club and Little League. His favorite part of VLB is just being able to play actual baseball and meeting new friends. His most memorable VLB moments were making his league debut in 2015, and also hitting his first homerun, a shot to left-center at Saukie Field in Rock Island. Coach Bollman wanted to be a captain to get experience and expand his knowledge of the game. Outside of Veto League, Coach Bollman is looking at going back to college to obtain a Master's Degree in accounting.

EDWIN MOORE #40 Debut: 2015 Team: Admirals (2020) Managerial Record: N/A (1st Season) About Edwin: Born in Medina, NY, Coach Moore moved to the Quad Cities when he was four. He played in Dad's Little League and Moline Senior League. His favorite part of VLB is the camaraderie of the players. His most memorable VLB moment is captaining the Admirals in the 2019 All-Star Classic. Coach Moore likes being a captain because he enjoys the analytics behind the game and getting the most of out of his teammates. Outside of VLB, Coach Moore enjoys bike rides along the Mississippi with his wife (Bria) and keeping up with the Cubs, Bears and Blackhawks.
ALEX MILLER #63 Debut: 2016 Team: Cannons (2017 - 2020) Managerial Record: 18-27 (.400) About Alex: Born in Salem, OR, Coach Miller's first actual baseball experience was Veto League. His favorite part of the league is that it's been around for 23 years and doesn't charge a dime to play. His favorite moment is captaining the Cannons in the 2017 All-Star Classic, a beatdown of the Spartans 25-9. Coach Miller wanted to be a captain because ever since sub-captaining to a World Series champtionship in 2016, he's always had a desire to win more. Outside of baseball, Coach Miller enjoys spending time with his son, Lukas, trying new restaurants and woodworking.
MASON OVERMIRE #69 Debut: 2017 Team: Heavy Hitters (2019 - 2020) Managerial Record: 19-8 (.704) About Mason: From Rock Island, Coach Overmire's baseball experience includes Rocky High School ball (class of 2011). His favorite part of VLB is making new friends and having fun playing baseball in a relaxed environment. His favorite experiences are playing under the lights during the league's annual All-Star Showcase with family and friends cheering on in attendance. Coach Overmire enjoys being a captain because he likes to compete and strategize, using his knowledge of the game to his advantage. Outside of Veto League, Coach Overmire enjoys golfing, grilling, drinking sodas and spending time with family and friends.
JOSH PAUL #65 Debut: 2003 Team: Goonies (2005, 2008 - 2020) Managerial Record: 152-108 (.585) About Josh: Coach Paul's path to the Majors was sidelined by injury when he was 11. He was recruited to VLB by Commissioner Veto in 2003. There are so many things to love about the league, but what he takes away the most are the dozens of friendships he's developed over the years. He also enjoys seeing players improve and watching the all-time roster grow each season. There have been so many moments over his 18-year career that he can't highlight just one - but the All-Star Classic is always a lasting memory. He enjoys the strategy of being a captain and cheering on his team when they conquer an insurmountable comeback. "Goonies Never Say Die". Outside of baseball, Coach Paul enjoys racquetball, geocaching, policing, being outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
JOHNNY READUS #1 Debut: 2014 Team: Racketeers (2019 - 2020) Managerial Record: 4-10 (.286) About Johnny: Coach Readus doesn't have any previous baseball experience, but has been a staple ever since joining the league. He's earned the Sportsmanship Award four consecutive years. Coach Readus enjoys VLB because you start out as being friends, but end up being a family. One of his fondest memories is when his sister came from Memphis to watch him play under the lights at the All-Star Showcase. He enjoys being a captain because it lets him be in control of the game. Outside of the sandlot, he used to be a "Big" with the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization, enjoys going for walks, and hanging with friends and family.
