JP's crew scores 34 in six innings of Eskimos

Josh Paul's Goonies destroyed the Eskimos 34-10 in six innings on Wednesday, May 18. Each player on the team had at least five hits and 4 runs scored in the game.
Jon Escajeda's Eskimos took their troubles out on the troubled Meteors in game one on Sunday winning 13-5 after taking a 5-0 shutout into the seventh.
The River Bandits won a six inning match with the King Cobras in game 2 of the double header 21-3.

On Wednesday, May 18, Josh Paul played his first game as an official captain and picked a team that caught on fire quickly. Lance McCafferty was 8 for 11, doubled twice and homered for a total of 8 RBI on the night.
Steve Roberts was 8 for 10 with 3 doubles and two homers and 10 RBI. Scott Ellefritz added a home-run and 7 RBI in the game. Due to darkness and shellacking, the Goonies and Eskimos decided to end the game in the six with a 34-10 win for the Goonies.
Saturday's showing was too poor to play a full game, so a double header was played on Sunday. The Meteors dropped their third game of the season to the Eskimos in an offensive struggle. The Eskimos held the Meteors scoreless for 6 full innings until Kiel Engstrom provided an RBI single to score Matt Veto. Engstrom wound up with all 4 RBI in the game.
In Game two, the late addition of Ashley Engstrom provided a little extra fire power to the River Bandits lineup. Engstrom had 5 RBI and a homer, but it wasn't needed. The King Cobras struggled for offense. Brett Carlson had two of the three RBI in the game on an RBI single and a solo home-run.
